Jack Young
1939 to August 20, 2005

Jack passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at the age of 66 years, after his battle with cancer. His career with Sport, Culture and Recreation, his involvement with his sons' activities (school, Cub Scouts, YMCA, hockey, water polo), his interest in the Scottish community and, most recently, his involvement in the early planning for the Canada Summer Games all kept him focused on those around him. His organizational skills plus his positive attitude and that great smile will be missed by all who knew him. He had a quip or saying to suit every occasion. He had that rare talent of making others feel good about themselves. He was a very special man.
